Alesis Turbo Mesh Kit — Mesh-Head Electronic Drums for Beginners

The Alesis Turbo Mesh Kit is a 7-piece electronic drum set focused on next-generation mesh head technology, preferred by drummers for its natural feel and quiet sound. It’s ideal for new players, home practice, or anyone needing a full kit in a compact space. All essentials come in the box: cables, sticks, power supply, and a drum key for quick setup. This model stands out as an accessible mesh-head option for those who want realism without a higher price.

What Stands Out at This Price

What stands out is the use of mesh heads on every pad, supported by Alesis' Intelligent Dynamic Articulation™ inside the Turbo module for lifelike response. Included hi-hat and kick pedals (custom design) and a steel rack keep the setup stable, even during extended sessions. Players can connect audio via 1/8" aux input for jamming with tracks from their devices directly through the module.

Sound Engine and Module — Variety & Realism

For many beginners, the sound engine is crucial. The Turbo module comes with 10 ready-to-play kits, each drawing from 120 drum sounds. Intelligent Dynamic Articulation™ ensures ghost notes and accents sound distinct, not identical each time.

• Number of Sounds: 120 — covers acoustic, electronic, and modern percussion for all styles
• Ready-to-play presets offer rock, pop, electronic, and acoustic kits to suit different genres.
• Module: Turbo drum module with Intelligent Dynamic Articulation™ — delivers expressive, dynamic performance

Pads, Cymbals, and Hardware — Natural Feel & Quiet Practice

Mesh heads are essential for realistic touch and volume control. The kit includes an 8" mesh snare, three 8" toms, and three 10" cymbal pads (hi-hat, crash, ride). Head tension can be adjusted with the included drum key for a tailored response.

• Snare Pad Size: 8" — offers authentic mesh response for learners
• Tom pads are compact and designed for easy fills and melodic drumming.
• Cymbal Pads: 10" hi-hat, 10" crash, 10" ride — enables a standard playing setup
• Rack: Durable steel rack — provides stability during energetic sessions

Connectivity, Practice Tools, and Footprint

Metronome and built-in drum coach, plus 30 play-along tracks, help players develop skills and timing. The module connects to a Mac or PC via USB for recording or educational apps. Both stereo line and headphone outputs enable quiet or amplified practice as needed.

• Practice is supported by a built-in metronome for reliable tempo guidance.
• Pedal: Yes (kick and hi-hat included) — immediate playability out of the box
• Drumsticks: Yes (included in package) — start drumming right away
• Footprint: approximately 65 cm wide × 58 cm deep — fits in bedrooms or small studios
• Package Content: Adapter, Manual, Module, Hi-Hat Pedal, Bass Drum Pedal, Drumsticks — all essentials included

Who Should Choose This Kit

The Alesis Turbo Mesh Kit is well-suited for beginners, students, and home players seeking a full-featured kit with quiet operation. Mesh heads offer a realistic feel, pleasing both new drummers and parents concerned about noise. Apartment residents benefit from the compact size and headphone output, while anyone interested in recording or e-learning can use the USB connection. Note: Pads are single-zone, so rim shots and cymbal chokes aren’t supported.
