I had no prior experience with Darkglass products, and honestly, the B1K wasn’t what I expected from the promo videos. I even considered sending it back, but after a couple of nights of tweaking, I found a distortion sound I really like. It’s not exactly what I was aiming for, but it’s cool, inspiring, and once you set your preferred controls under the magnetic cover, the pedal is very user-friendly.
