Fender American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster RW 3-Color Sunburst Električna gitara

1961 Stratocaster Reissue — Vintage Tone, Modern Build

Built around a premium alder body and finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, this reissue captures the period-correct look, feel, and tonal character that defined the golden era of the Stratocaster. The reformulated 3-Color Sunburst with a more vibrant red and bolder black edge is paired with period-accurate bodies, necks, and hardware that honor the original design.

Period-Accurate Hardware and Voiced Pickups

What separates this reissue from other Stratocaster models is the meticulous attention to period-correct detail. The Pure Vintage '61 single-coil pickups are constructed with cloth-covered wire, fiber bobbins, and Alnico magnets — materials and methods used during Fender's golden years. The Pure Vintage synchronized tremolo features a cold rolled steel block and bent steel saddles, while single-line "Fender Deluxe" tuners and a 3-ply pickguard complete the vintage appointments. Much of the hardware is still manufactured on the original '50s and '60s era Fender factory machines.

Alder Body and Nitrocellulose Lacquer — Tonal Foundation

The body material and finish shape both resonance and visual character. Alder offers a well-balanced tone with beefy mids and a solid low-end, while gloss nitrocellulose lacquer allows the body to breathe and reveal its true tonal character over time.

• Body Material: Alder — balanced tone with strong mids and low-end punch
• Body Finish: Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer — vintage-correct finish that ages naturally
• Color: 3-Color Sunburst — reformulated with vibrant red and bolder black edge

1961 "C" Neck and Slab Rosewood Fingerboard — Vintage Feel

The neck profile and fingerboard radius define how a Stratocaster feels in the player's hands. The 1961 "C"-shaped maple neck provides medium depth suited to varied playing styles, while the slab rosewood fingerboard offers the curved playing surface found on vintage Fenders. Vintage-tall frets make it easier to bend notes without fretting out.

• Neck Shape: 1961 "C" — medium-depth profile
• Fingerboard Radius: 184.1 mm — classic curved surface for vintage feel and easy string bending
• Scale Length: 648 mm — standard Stratocaster scale for familiar tension
• Nut Width: 42 mm — comfortable string spacing for chord work and lead playing

Pure Vintage Pickups and Vintage-Accurate Hardware

Three Pure Vintage '61 single-coil pickups deliver the bell-like clarity, glassy highs, and warm mid-range that defined the 1961 Stratocaster sound. The 5-way blade switch, master volume, and dual tone controls provide access to the full range of Strat tones — from bright bridge pickup bite to warm neck pickup smoothness.

• Pickup Configuration: SSS (Pure Vintage '61 Single-Coil Strat) — three period-voiced single-coils
• Bridge: Pure Vintage Synchronized Tremolo with Bent Steel Saddles — vintage-accurate tremolo action
• Tremolo Block: Cold Rolled Steel — enhances sustain and tonal warmth
• Tuners: Pure Vintage Single-Line "Fender Deluxe" — period-correct tuning machines

For Vintage Tone Enthusiasts and Period-Correct Players

The American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster is the right choice for players who want an authentic 1961 Stratocaster experience without the risks and price tag of a true vintage instrument. It suits guitarists who appreciate the warmth and mid-range character of Alnico-magnet single-coil pickups, the comfortable feel of a 7.25" radius fingerboard, and the visual appeal of a nitrocellulose lacquer finish that will age gracefully over time.

This reissue works equally well for blues, rock, country, and jazz players who rely on the Stratocaster's tonal flexibility. The 5-way switching and dual tone controls provide modern convenience for stage use, while the vintage appointments satisfy players seeking period-correct authenticity.
