Engine Audio Qanun Crossgrade (Digitalni proizvod)

Authentic Qanun Sampled for Modern Producers

The Qanun Crossgrade by Engine Audio captures the sound of the traditional Middle Eastern qanun, a wooden psaltery documented since the 10th century. Designed by multi-instrumentalist Bassam Ayoub, this library delivers 22 articulations, multiple velocity layers, and up to 16 round robins. It runs in the Engine Player (version 1.5.2 or higher) and supports AAX Native, AU, VST3, and standalone operation on macOS 11 and Windows 10.

What Makes This Library Stand Out

Integrated microtunings support the Maqam tradition, while a keyswitch system lets players switch articulations in real time. Latch and Hold modes add expressive control. The instrument works in Middle Eastern music, EDM, hip-hop, pop, and film scoring.

Who Is It For

The Qanun Crossgrade is the right choice for producers who already own Arabic Oud or Arabic E-Oud and want to expand their Middle Eastern instrument collection. It suits film composers seeking authentic Oriental textures and beat makers exploring world fusion.
