Finger and Thumb Picks

Fingerpicks, thumb picks and other picks are essential equipment for every guitarist and string-instrument player. They are key to better control over your tone and playing technique, whether you play acoustic or electric instruments. Choose a fingerpick or thumb pick according to your finger circumference and playing style: metal emphasises the attack, plastic offers a softer tone, and the correct shape should stay in place without pinching or slipping.

Different types of fingerpicks are particularly valued by banjo and mandolin players, for whom finger precision and speed are crucial. Conventional picks are indispensable for achieving a broad range of sounds, from gentle, flowing strumming to a pronounced, sharp tone. Choosing the right pick, including its thickness and material, fundamentally affects not only the resulting sound but also your overall playing style.
